Benefits Network President & CEO Helps Raise More Than $4,000 for MDA Dave Straight, the president & CEO of Benefits Network, recently participated in the MDA Lock-Up, a fundraising campaign for the benefits of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Through this creative initiative, MDA recruits volunteers who are imprisoned in an imaginary MDA jail. They are released from jail upon raising "bail" by soliciting donations from generous friends and colleagues. We are please to announce that through the support of many, Dave surpassed all of his "cell mates" in this year's event by raising more than $4,000. "I am grateful for the support I received from my friends, family and business associates," said Dave Straight following the lock-up, "although many of them actually offered to contribute more money to keep in jail."
The donations will support continued research into the cause and possible cure for the 43 neuromuscular disease covered by MDA and will send six of "Jerry's Kids" from our local area to summer camp. Thanks to everyone who offered their generous support!
